For compliance requirements, product authorizations, or any program where passing the assessment is supposed to mean something, an open-ended course quietly undermines the credential. Participants can tab away, look things up, and take three coffee breaks. The certificate looks the same either way.
Timed courses change that. Authors can now set a time limit on any course in Sales Readiness. When a limit is set, the course displays a Timed tag so participants know what they're walking into. During the attempt, they can see time elapsed, receive a warning as the limit approaches, and are locked out when time expires.
