How do I create a post?
We recommend using the search first to see if your question is already being discussed. If there’s no relevant thread yet, click the ‘Create topic’ button next to your avatar. Choose what type of topic you’re going to post – a conversation or ‘how do I?’ type question.
Create a short but descriptive title so fellow community members can easily identify if it’s a topic they are able to help you with. Describe what your topic is about in as much detail as possible. Feel free to add images and videos. Lastly, choose the relevant category to post your question/conversation.
Conversation vs Question. Which should I choose?
When you create a new topic, you’ll see the two different types of topics: conversation or question. Conversations are when you want to share your experience, best practices, or helpful resources, and involve the community in the discussion. Get your thoughts out and have other Showpad users collaborate with you. Questions are straightforward “how do I…” in Showpad.
Do I need to contact the Support team or ask the community?
The community is a space to connect and exchange knowledge and expertise. In The Rev, you can get help from your fellow community members and share your own expertise to help someone else.
Showpad team members also participate in some discussions, but they are not the primary responders, as we want you all to learn from each other. If you are looking for official, in-depth support regarding your specific Showpad instance, or you have run into an issue, please try searching in the help center or file a support ticket.
How do I edit my own post?
Go to the post which you would like to edit. Hover your mouse over the three dots on the right bottom corner. Click Edit. You are unable to edit your post title. Feel free to reach out to
How do I change my name or username? If you'd like to change your Showpad Community username, simply email us at community@showpad.com from the email address linked to your Showpad account. Let us know your current username and the new one you'd like to switch to. We're here to help you make the transition smoothly.
How can I change the email address I use in my Community account? Since your Community access is dependent on your active status as a Showpad customer, you must use your work email address.
How do I delete my Showpad Community account? If you decide to delete your Community account, please email us at community@showpad.com from the email address associated with your account. There are two important things to know about deleting your Showpad Community account: Your posts, comments, and likes will remain on the Community, but they will be attributed to 'Anonymous.' Your contributions will stay, but your account won't be linked to them. Once a Community account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. We can’t reverse the process. Before we proceed with deleting your account, we'll ask you to confirm that you understand these points.
How can I report a user’s behavior? We strive to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone in The Rev Community. If you feel that a user has violated the Community Code of Conduct, please let us know. If you receive direct messages that breach the Code of Conduct or make you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, take a screenshot and send it to community@showpad.com.
