Let AI find the workflow once, then lock it in

At Showpad’s Excellence in the Field in Manhattan, I heard the same thing in several conversations. Enablement and marketing leaders want more out of the data they already collect. They want to use it to build better workflows and close deals faster.

The approach several of us liked: use AI to spot new patterns in the data, then turn what it finds into a standard workflow your team can repeat and test. You don’t send AI back to re-analyze or reinvent the process every time - instead, use it to build a new standard workflow. This approach can build trust where a process is vetted and finalized by a human.

This is for admins and sales and marketing leaders do this work behind the scenes. Reps never touch the AI in this bigger picture flow.

We’ve been exploring a few of these paths:

  • Content that closes: Connect content analytics to CRM data, find the assets that keep showing up in won deals, and build more like them.
  • Buyer-signal follow-up: Find which buyer actions in shared spaces come right before a deal moves forward, and turn them into simple follow-up rules.
  • Objection-ordered decks: Find the objections each buyer type raises most often, and arrange the presentation to match.
  • Stage-gate content: Identify which assets move deals from one stage to the next, and give each stage a short list of required content.

The goal is a measurable lift in deal flow and speed to close.

Three questions for this group:

  1. What do you wish you could pull from your data?
  2. What have you tried, and what did you actually put into practice?
  3. Would any of these paths help your team?

We’d also like to beta test a few of these ‘AI-to-standard’ flows. If you’re interested, reply here or send me a message.
